Turkey Twist

We all know the story of the first Thanksgiving. Imagine the scene, Native Americans and Europeans all together in peace and harmony until....ALIENS! For this blog post create a short about the first Thanksgiving being interrupted by aliens.  Use the questions below to help develop your story and submit one chapter or the full piece to wcpldteen@gmail.com to earn at least 5 PUBLISHER POINTS.

 

What did the day look like before the aliens arrived?

How would 15th century Native Americans and Europeans react to the sight of aliens?

Did the aliens come in peace or to blow the turkey to pieces?

Is there a hero to save the day? Is there an unexpected romance?

Do alliances form? Between whom?

A Danish artist came to the library last week to work on a new photography project of hers and it inspired me to post this blog prompt. Having grown up in West Chicago I am interested to see your responses, so send them in! Choose a location in West Chicago and write about a memory associated with that place.
