Befuddled by Penner Jones
Befuddled
By Penner Jones
I can't stop thinking about it
No matter how hard I try.
To say that I understand this,
That would be a lie.
How do people have the courage to say it?
How do they know the right time?
I know I can't say anything;
I know the time's not right.
Why, Lord, did you make me like this?
I want to know his mind.

Midnight by Penner J.
Midnight
It's that time
That blessed time
The moon is rising
On oceans deep
Over crystal mount
On stony vale
It's that time
That blessed time
When dragons growl
Asleep in den
When wolves do howl
On hunt for prey
It's that time
That blessed time
Midnight again
Midnight again

Starting Point
Have you heard?
Astronaut Scott Kelly and Cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko are doing tests on an International Space Station, as well as undergoing an experiment themselves which will break the record for the longest stay in space (which now stands at one continuous year). Kelly's twin brother, also an astronaut is staying down on earth as the control subject.
You can read about it here:

What do you think it would be like to be isolated from the world for one year, on a space station? What would you encounter, and what would you do to keep from boredom, or worse? Talk about extreme cabin fever! Not to mention the ultimate long-distance relationships. Will your characters break the record, will they give up, or will something sabotage them?
